WEEKLY MUSIC SESSIONS FOR BABIES, TODDLERS AND PRE-SCHOOL CHILDREN

 

Friday mornings at the Kirk Centre, Ellon
 
0 - 3 yr & 3 - 5 yr classes

At Tot Tunes we sing, play and move with music....

Each session introduces music to children in a relaxed group atmosphere. Children and adults sing and play together.
  

 

We play singing games, learn nursery rhymes, counting
songs and action songs, play percussion instruments and move, all in a fun way to encourage learning and musical expression.
 
Sessions last 45 minutes (30 mins for the baby class) follow various themes and can be booked in blocks which fit inside local school term-time. These are payable in advance. 
  
Parents and/ or carers are integral to the activities. This also gives you a chance to learn new songs to sing at home with your child. We aim to get children AND adults singing!

We use percussion instruments specially for younger children, stretchy lycra, puppets, parachute, soft ball, and other props to help us play singing games. 

 

 

Cost: £3.90 per week, paid in blocks, bookable in advance.

Song and movement are great for helping children to develop language skills, improve physical co-ordination, gain confidence and interact with other children.
